Job Health Security
As Eron GROUP, it is our priority to provide a suitable work environment both for our employees, subcontractors and related stakeholders to carry out their activities in a healthy and safe working environment, and for the construction of a sustainable future. In this direction, we eliminate the dangers and risks that may pose an obstacle with proactive and systematic approaches.
Occupational health and safety teams, consisting of occupational safety specialists, workplace doctors and other health personnel working in our group companies, closely monitor the national legislation, standards and practices accepted in the world, and implement the necessary improvements.
Eron GROUP Health and Safety Unit plays an important role in realizing the value we attach to occupational health and safety. The Occupational Health and Safety Unit regularly reviews the practices throughout our Group; manages the regulatory compliance processes of good practice examples adopted by our companies. While the necessary trainings (emergency situations, employee representative, safe use of equipment, professional, first aid, hygiene, etc.) are given, especially the ‘basic occupational health and safety trainings’ organized to increase the awareness of our employees, regular information is also given to the employees.
Emergency action plans prepared by considering possible emergencies in our group companies are renewed according to legal terms and conditions. The emergency response teams formed within the scope of the action plans are provided with necessary training by institutions and persons deemed appropriate by the legislation, and drills are held at least once a year.
Risk assessment reports are prepared by identifying hazards and risks in our companies and documenting them in accordance with the legislation. Prepared risk assessment reports are partially or completely renewed according to legal terms and conditions.
Occupational health and safety processes and in-company practices are controlled by occupational safety experts and workplace physicians working in our companies; Work environment and health surveillance, in which corrective/preventive actions are determined when necessary, are carried out regularly. Occupational physicians keep records of occupational accidents and near-miss incidents, inspect and report them, as well as the employment examinations and regular examinations of the employees. Regular controls of work equipment are carried out by authorized institutions and competent persons, and occupational hygiene measurements are made in line with the determinations and recommendations of occupational safety experts and workplace physicians. Occupational health and safety risks are discussed by the Early Risk Detection Committees of Eron Group companies, and action and follow-up processes are carried out. These activities are also audited in terms of compliance and internal control requirements within the framework of annual audit work plans. The management bodies of our holding are regularly informed about the occupational health and safety activities of our companies.
